How to install the theme?

There are two methods to install theme. You may either upload the zipped theme file using the WordPress theme installer (Recommended), or you can upload the unzipped theme folder via FTP (Advanced).

Method 2: Install Using File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

  1. Unzip “fitness-park.zip” file on your computer.
  2. Login using FTP client to access your host web server.
  3. Locate the wp-content folder in your WordPress install files.
  4. Upload the un-zipped Fitness Park folder into the: wp-content/themes folder.

Activate the Theme

  1. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress menu
  3. Hover over the theme thumbnail and click the Activate button.

Plugin Installation

To install a plugin in your WordPress admin panel and follow the following steps.

Plugin Installing Method

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Click Navigate to Plugins > Add New in the WordPress Dashboard.
  3. Search for the name of the plugin you wish to install which will return a list of potential plugins.
  4. Click Details to read more about a plugin.
  5. Click “Install Now” if you wish to install the plugin.
  6. It may ask if you are sure, and you may proceed. The installation will commence once you confirm to proceed.
  7. After the plugin is downloaded. Go to Plugins>Installed Plugins. Click “Activate Plugin” to make it available for use.

Configuring the front Page display setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Enable Front Page >>Then Below is checked "Enable Fitness Park Style frontpage?" Checked that options.

General Setting

Logo/Site Title/Favicon (To set up Site Identity)

  1. Go to Appearance> Customize > General Settings > Site Identity
  2. Click Select logo by clicking Select Logo.
  3. Upload and select the desired image.
  4. Enter the Site Title and Tagline
  5. Check Display Header Text for the Site title and Tagline to appear on your homepage.
  6. Click Select Image under Site Icon
  7. Upload and select the desired image. (The Site Icon/ favicon is used as a browser and app icon for your site. The recommended Site Icon size is 512*512 pixels.)
  8. Publish.

Main Banner Slider Setting

Configer Main Banner Slider Settings

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Create Page with Slider Title, Description & Featured Image.
  3. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  4. Open > Banner Slider
  5. Select Featured Page.
  6. Enter Subtitle.
  7. Enter Button Text.
  8. Enter Button URL.
  9. Publish.

Frontpage Section Area

About Us Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Create Page with Title and Description.
  3. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  4. Open > Frontpage Setting
  5. Frontpage Setting > About Us Section
  6. Upload Image. (Note: If you don't upload image then page image will be displayed.)
  7. Select Featured Page.
  8. Enter Section Subtitle.
  9. Enter Button Text.
  10. Enter Button URL.
  11. Publish.

Call To Action Settings

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Frontpage Settings
  4. Frontpage Settings > Call To Action Section.
  5. Upload Image.
  6. Enter Section Title.
  7. Enter Section Subtitle.
  8. Enter Button Text.
  9. Enter Button URL.
  10. Publish.

Services Section

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Create page with Title and Description.

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Install Contact Form 7 Plugin and copy the shortcode.
  3. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  4. Open > Frontpage Settings
  5. Frontpage settings > Appointment Section.
  6. Upload Image.
  7. Enter Contact Form Title.
  8. Enter Contact Form Subtitle.
  9. Paste copied Shortcode.
  10. Publish.

Blog Posts Setting

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Create Posts with Title, Description and Create Category.
  3. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  4. Open > Frontpage Settings
  5. Frontpage Settings > Blog Posts Section.
  6. Enter Section Title.
  7. Enter Section Subtitle.
  8. Check Category To Display Blog Posts.
  9. Publish.

Gallery Section

  1. Log into your WordPress site and opens the Administration Panel.
  2. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize
  3. Open > Frontpage Setting.
  4. Frontpage Setting > Gallery Section.
  5. Upload Images.
  6. Publish.
